| Ya know, there
comes a time when you realize that what you are
currently doing (job wise) is not what you want to be doing for too
much
longer. I mean, I enjoy my work, I enjoy making people smile when
I bring them their food and I enjoy baking. But I don't like it
well enough to jump out of bed every morning happy as a cricket who
can't wait to get the day started. Now, maybe this is partly
because my day starts at 4am Mon-Fri, but I think mostly it's because
making food is not my true love. It pays the bills and keeps me
busy for a majority of the day, but it's not what drives me. So,
I ask myself, "what do you love to do?" And I answer, "I love to
read, to write, to help others write better and to help others
understand something they have read a bit better." Put those
things together and what do you get? Dr. Shanna Bryant, English
Professor. Look out Radford University, there's a new chic in
town and she's got Shakespeare, Woolf, both Brownings, and Poe on her
side. Are we ready for this?!?!

I’m 15 for a moment
Caught in between 10 and 20
And I’m just dreaming
Counting the ways to where you are
I’m 22 for a moment
She feels better than ever
And we’re on fire
Making our way back from Mars
15... there’s still time for you
Time to buy and time to lose
15... there’s never a wish better than this
When you only got 100 years to live...
I’m 33 for a moment
Still the man but you see I’m a they
A kid on the way babe
A family on my mind
I’m 45 for a moment
The sea is high
And I’m heading into a crisis
Chasing the years of my life
15... there’s still time for you
Time to buy and time to lose yourself
Within a morning star
15... I’m alright with you
15... there’s never a wish better than this
When you only got 100 years to live...
Halftime goes by
Suddenly you’re wise
Another blink of an eye
67 is gone
The sun is getting high
We’re moving on...
I’m 99 for a moment
Dying for just another moment
And I’m just dreaming
Counting the ways to where you are
15... there's still time for you
22... I feel her too
33... you're on your way
Every Day's a new Day
15... there’s still time for you
Time to buy and time to choose
Hey 15... there’s never a wish better than this
When you only got 100 years to live... | | |
| Well, Nathan came over tonight and finally met my parents and stuff
like that. It was... strange. I was worried and I don't
really know why. I don't really like Nathan like that, only as a
friend, but everyone's treating me like we're going to hook up or
something. I mean, Nathan's great, but he has no ambition in life
except to not have to work anymore but he's not wanting to work now in
order to not have to work later. I don't know what he thinks he's
going to do, but we shall see. Oh well. I'm going to bed,
more later.
Ferrumites, have a great year!!!
